Line up for top nosh at Taste of Dubai
The city’s annual tucker fest starts today at Media City, with restaurants across the city cooking up a storm so you can sample their delights. Participants include The Rivington Grill, Mango Tree, The Gramercy (Dubai’s first gastropub) and many, many more. This three-day family-centric event includes a Playnation Kids’ Zone, and kids under 12 eat for free. Continues until March 5.

The well-known fabric softener characters will be performing on the central podium and holding 45-minute dance sessions for little ones. Expect lots of loud, energetic fun, with routines including The Twist, The Chicken Dance, YMCA and the Comfees’ own Do The Moves.

Picnic at the polo
Join the horsey set for an afternoon of cucumber sarnies and polo ponies at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club. Cité des Enfants at Mirdif City Centre
Pure edutainment for tots aged two to seven, Cité des Enfants is a five-zoned, fun-filled play centre for children. Kids can don construction gear and build a house of foam bricks, discover the movements of joints in their skeleton, encounter the elements of water, air and light in the experiment zone and take part in organised workshop activities.
