EDITOR’S PICK Go crazy with cupcakes at Uptown Mirdif Park
Let the little ones get stuck into buttercream at this session on cupcake decorating run by Blessing Babies. The workshop for kids (aged three and above) includes a chef’s hat for every child to decorate and keep, along with aprons and all the icing equipment and goodies. Tots under three can join in the fun in the plasticine and colouring corner. There will be face painters and balloon benders, and snacks are provided, while every child gets to take home their yummy creations.

Cine-Splash at the Polo Club is back!
Take in a movie under the stars while you splash away in the pool. Yes, the rather large Ben 10 space alien will be doing a meet and greet (not greet and eat) at Hamleys in The Dubai Mall every hour between 4.30pm and 9.30pm for 20-minute sessions. There will be goodies available too. If your little tykes are big fans of the show, this is probably a good shindig to attend.

Okay, to be fair it’s the divers that do the feeding. But would you really want to go into the water and hand-feed a pack of hungry sharks? Thankfully, the experts are on hand in their special chainmail suits,
so no digits get digested in the process. In the meantime, though, you can get yourselves into a prime position by watching feeding time in the aquarium tunnel.
