EDITOR’S PICK Party with the Pirates of the Caribbean
Yes, the fourth instalment in the franchise, On Stranger Tides, has finally arrived in cinemas, and is perfect for young pirate fanatics who love lots of swashbuckling adventure. This latest chapter doesn’t include Orlando Bloom (sorry mums – he’s still in Davy Jones’ locker) or Keira Knightley, but we do have the added bonus of Ian (‘Lovejoy’) McShane as Blackbeard the pirate and a smouldering Penélope Cruz as his dark-hearted daughter, while Johnny Depp is guaranteed to be as entertaining as ever in his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.
At cinemas across Dubai.

First of all though, Popular Productions needs to find a cast. The auditions are open for those age 10 and above who fancy belting out hit songs – participants must be available between June 25 and July 16 for the rehearsals and performances.
Free to audition, fees apply for those selected to appear in the show. 9am-6pm, Hayya!, The Meadows, www.disneycamprocklive.com.
