Don’t miss your last chance to register for Festival Centre’s Kids Got Talent competition, open to kids aged six to 15. The contest is divided into three categories: music (singing or instrumental), dance and gymnastics (solo or group, maximum four children) and magic and sports tricks. Places for the last round of auditions (taking place on Friday October 19) will be chosen by raffle, and the semi-finals will be held on Friday October 26. This year’s prizes for the three finalists will be worth a total of Dhs75,000.

New Celebrate Eid in Dubai
To celebrate Eid al-Adha, there will be a family-friendly festival encompassing activities across Dubai’s malls and public spaces, including shows, performances, fireworks and special shopping promotions. Try a kid-friendly brunch
The relaunched family brunch at Azur in Raffles Dubai pays tribute to traditional British cuisine. As well as a spread for kids, there’s the chance for grown-ups to try long-forgotten traditional cuts of meat, including lamb forequarter and haunch of mutton. Head to the kids’ corner, which will host an exclusive drawing competition for young diners aged over six, with a grand prize of a family stay in Raffles Singapore. Winners will be announced in December.

Prepare to be spooked at Kidville
Get the little ones dressed up in their scariest costumes: Kidville is celebrating Halloween at its three branches around town, with dedicated days of fun in the run-up to the big day. Discover the world at Global Village
This international adventure park will once again throw open its doors to the general public from today. Book a seat for Noddy in Toyland
As part of the Eid al-Adha celebrations in Dubai, little Noddy fans will love this stage extravaganza at the First Group Theatre. Book now for canine fancy dress
Halloween isn’t just for kids – it’s also an excuse for pets to get dressed up too. Tickets are now on sale for Shampooch’s first ever ‘Howloween Pawty’ on Saturday October 27, where dogs and their owners can don their best costumes and enjoy an afternoon of paw painting, mask making, face painting, fun activities and much more. There are also prizes for the best-dressed dogs. Proceeds will be donated to local dog charity K9 Friends. Dhs20 per dog (tickets only, advance booking required).
