Cascade Learning camp
Get them stretching their grey matter and their creativity for the day with this ‘whole caboodle’ camp run by the Cascade Learning Centre. Activities include fun maths classes, exciting English sessions, fantastic performing arts tuition including dance, drama and singing, as well as sports activities for kids with loads of energy. The Great Ghost Rescue
Head to the cinema for a Thursday afternoon treat and stock up on popcorn for the premiere of this funny family tale of spooky mayhem. Humphrey is a ghost with a big problem: his family, the Craggyfords, have been ousted from their home and left without a place to haunt. As they search for new haunting grounds, Humphrey digs deep and decides to help save his family and the rest of the haunting community by scaring his way to victory.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Don’t miss out on the last chance to see this fantastic stage production of the West End show at the First Group Theatre. Starring some of Dubai’s own home-grown stars as well as professional performers, this popular, biblical-themed musical with a particularly catchy set of songs will have you all singing along. Great for kids aged five and up.

Red Bull X-Fighters
Little petrolheads should make their way to Downtown for an evening of fantastic displays by one of the world’s top freestyle motocross teams: expect lots of hair-raising stunts and noise as the bikers jump more than 15 metres into the air aboard their high-powered dirt bikes.

Picnic brunch at Al Badia
Head to the grassy knolls at Al Badia Golf Course for a slap-up picnic brunch. Activities are laid on for the kids, including face painting, balloon bending, a bouncy castle and more. Kids are allowed the run of the grassy area, with other children to play with, while mums and dads can relax on a picnic blanket and enjoy the sunshine without worrying about table manners and who’s eaten their meal.

Head to Bowling City at Dubai Festival City
Featuring 12 lanes, kids as young as four are welcome to play – practice lanes are available to help them boost their confidence and skill, featuring buffers in the gutters so they won’t bowl any dud balls.

Head to your local branch of Fun City every Monday, when kids can enjoy the rides and games for Dhs1 each.

Toddlers on ice
Dubai Ice Rink at The Dubai Mall is offering a special session for tots under 100cm tall, which includes ice time, skate hire and the purchase of the all-important crash helmet for Dhs55. That means your little munchkins will get two hours of ice time (enough to wear them out) and they’ll be able to keep the helmet for their next trip to the rink. Helmets cost Dhs40 when purchased separately.
