Interview, Education

Name: Angelica Robinson

School: Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School

Job Title: Teacher at Future Kids Accelerated Learning Centre

Where did you go to school?
I went to Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School (Secondary School) in High Barnet, Hertfordshire, England.

What was your favourite subject?
My favourite subjects were Art and Product Design.

What was your least favourite?
My least favourite subject was Maths.

Did you have a favourite teacher?
Not particularly. Although, I got along very well with my form tutor for Year 7 and 8 called Mr Reading. He also taught French and German.

Were you good or naughty?
Good. I did what the teacher said but often found myself distracted by the other kids in class.

What was the naughtiest thing you did at school?
Pretend I had sustained an injury or lost my P.E kit to get out of Games lessons.

What’s your happiest memory from your school days?
We had so much fun going on school trips - to the war trenches in Belgium, Amsterdam and New York for Art and Barcelona to make use of Spanish studies. There was always something to smile about!

What about your worst one?
That dreaded feeling before an exam started and knowing that revising the night before was just not going to suffice.
