Don’t miss out on the Sheikha Manal Little Artists Programme for kids aged three to 14 during Art Dubai. The programme includes workshops, discovery tours of galleries and activities led by

The Gruffalo’s Child
The best selling picture book by Julia Donaldson is back in Dubai in a magical, musical adaptation which aims to be interactive with kids.

Friday 21

Free Story Time
Head over to Little Explorers for free story time under the Banyan Tree for all kids aged five and above until March 29. Reading popular fairytales and children’s best selling stories, the 20-30 minute sessions will take place on a first-come, first-served basis.

Mother’s Day Workshop
Let your kids get crafty at Caboodle with a special workshop where they can make their own original Mother’s Day gift from cards, origami flowers, paper mobiles and more.

Painting with Mum

Gulf Star
If the kids are keen to try out a new hobby but aren’t sure where to start, take a look at Gulf Star Sports which runs classes all over Dubai including gymnastics, football, dance, martial arts, swimming and more.

Arts and Crafts workshop
Head over to the Al Maraya Art Centre for a free arts and craft workshop for kids aged six to 10 years old. This week will focus on sculpture using recycled materials and cardboard while also teaching the importance of recycling and conserving the environment.

Abu Dhabi Festival
Head out of Dubai for the day to visit Abu Dhabi Festival event The Story Mile featuring illustrations of age old story characters, magical and mythical, whose stories deliver messages about morality and safety. Dhs10 per person entry to Khalifa Park.
