Students from schools and universities joined forces for the annual Waste Free Environment beach clean. Around 500 students across Dubai took part in the initiative organised by the GPCA in partnership with Shell and LyondellBasell, where they helped pick up waste around the shores of Al Mamzar Beach. Last year, the event saw a record collection of 11 tons of waste collected from 5,512 participants.
