School: Dubai British School, Jumeirah Park

Where did you go to school?
I went to school in York, England. My primary school was called Poppleton Road Primary School.

What was your favourite subject?
My favourite subject by far was PE. I would wait all week for PE, even in the freezing cold.

Were you good or naughty?
I was very well behaved at school and worked very hard on most subjects, except music! It was rare for me to get into trouble.

What was the naughtiest thing you did at school?
I was one of the first in my class to get my own mobile phone and I took it to a music lesson. During the lesson, I received about three text messages. Fair to say the teacher wasn’t impressed with my new phone. He confiscated it for two weeks.

What’s your happiest memory from your school days?
Getting my GCSE results was a good day. Another was playing cricket in Year Eight. We had a very good team. We won all of our games and reached the Yorkshire finals. We got to play at Headingley, which was very special.
