Gruffalo’s Child
‘The Gruffalo said that no Gruffalo should ever set foot in the deep dark wood’, but, naturally, the Gruffalo’s child didn’t listen… and so follows an adventurous journey where the mischievous madam hooks up with the same fox, owl and snake that her father met some years before. Each points her in a different direction, so by the time the little Gruffalo gets to the heart of the wood, she is beginning to have serious doubts about the scary mouse that her dad has told her about. This award-winning, charmer of a book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler is brought to life by Tall Stories, the same company that gave us the original Gruffalo at the Madinat last year. Aimed at kids aged four and above, the spunky characters in this magical, musical adaptation will have you and your kids singing along. Performances are at several times during the day and run from March 25 to April 1 (except March 26).
Tickets cost Dhs90 for children under 12 and Dhs140 for adults.

Paul Blart
Mall Cop If you’re in need of some belly laughs check out funny man Kevin James in the role of the mild-mannered, heavy-set security guard who gets no respect from the patrons he’s charged with protecting. When a band of brutes takes over the centre and holds its customers hostage, Blart must tap into his inner street cop to bust the gang. There’s no end of fat guy jokes, which may amuse younger patrons, while the thieving gang consists of skateboarding/parkour stars, so expect some cool tricks.
