Family Fun Day at The Market Mall
Get in the festive spirit with some chatter and cheer at this month’s Family Fun Day at The Market Mall. Enjoy colouring contests, giveaways, face-painting, balloon-bending and 30 minutes of free playtime at Kids Zone.

Dubai pre-owned boat show
A weekend of fun awaits at Dubai Creek Marina. There’s a kids’ area, live entertainment and delicious food, too.

Flip Out Dubai
Flip Out Dubai has launched new fitness classes that have people bouncing off the walls (literally). Split into Trampoline Parkour, Wallrunning, Flip N’ Fit, Little Ninjas and Mums n’ Bubs, the custom-designed sessions are sure to be fun.

November 6-11

Battle it out in the Astro blaster Arena
Magic Planet just got even better: introducing the Astro Blaster Arena. Brave players can put their speed and accuracy to the test in a series of fast-paced group games including capture the flag, king of the castle, supersonic target range and tag. Battlers are challenged to capture their competitors using play-friendly “Astro Guns” on the arena’s built-in assault course.

Mother, baby & child show
There’s heaps to do at this year’s show, from picking up tips at the Health & Wellness lounge to cooking classes for kids, pop-up shops to peruse and a Lego Zone for kids of all ages.

Build-a-Bear has a new family to introduce: Poppy, Branch and Guy Diamond – Trolls with a playful attitude and wild up-dos. Kids will love creating their own, and with the festive season approaching, they make fun gift ideas, too.

Kick up a stink
“Mr Stink stank. He also stunk. And if it was correct English to say he stinked, then he stinked as well”. If you have any little fans of comedian David Walliams, then they will be very excited to see Mr Stink come to life on stage for the first time in the UAE, thanks to award-winning theatre group CDP. Meet Chloe, a little girl who doesn't quite fit in – until she meets Mr Stink, that is. This scruffy character becomes her friend and together they have all sorts of escapades. Filled with the jokes and humour that Walliams is famous for, this is a show for the whole family.

See Magic Phil
Magic Phil is back, and his newest pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, is another riot of tricks and jokes. One for the whole family to enjoy, Magic Phil will entertain young and old with a show filled with silliness, songs, and dances.

Rainbow runners
Join in with this year’s edition of The Color Run, one of the city’s most fun-loving fitness events. It returns on Saturday November 12, this year as part of its Tropicolor World Tour. Fancy dress is heartily encouraged, and be prepared to get splattered with colourful paint powders, while the organisers promise surprises along the 5km route.

Head to the theatre to see Sleeping Beauty
As part of the Dubai Fringe, Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s Meyana Auditorium will host a run of performances of Sleeping Beauty and the Magic Spell. Prepare for comedy, action and music ranging from opera to rock ‘n’ roll.

Fun at the fair
Head out for some good old-fashioned fun at the annual Fun Fair in aid of The Special Needs Future Development Center (SNF). A game zone, pop-up market and lots of culinary delights await and daredevil parents can go for a spin on a Harley-Davidson. SNF students will showcase their dancing skills, too.

Poolside treats
Enjoy something refreshing from these cute cup floats from Tarsam. Whether you’re splashing around in the swimming pool or lazing on your float, your drink will be right there, floating beside you. So there’s really no excuse not to stay hydrated.

Splash ‘N’ Party

There’s no such thing as a… Gruffalo!
What better way for kids to start the day with than with a friend like the Gruffalo? Borders has a new range of fabulous Gruffalo products, including a height chart, mugs, lunchboxes and tumblers, helping you to make meal times more exciting. Serve up some Gruffalo crumble and watch their faces light up.

Global village is back!
Dubai’s festival park and all-round mega market has reopened for a brand-new season. This year you’ll find a new stunt arena with dedicated shows, new restaurants and new shopping pavilions including Algeria, Eastern Europe and The Far East.

Beach days
Finally, after the hot summer, cooler days have arrived, which can only mean one thing: Fun Fair at The Beach, in JBR (the friendliest carnival in town) is back. Crammed full of family favourites including swing chairs, hook-a-duck and a carousel, everyone is sure of a fun day out here.
