milk & HONEY in Dubai

Get your gourmet grub from the culinary haven milk & HONEY

Shopping

It’s a bit like spotting a branch of Waitrose on the high street in the UK – if there’ a milk & HONEY in your neighbourhood, you know it must be a little bit posh.

Since its launch in 2009, this high-end gourmet food store and deli has been winning awards and impressing regulars with an extensive range of hard-to-come-by brands from across the world.

You’ll pay a premium for a bottle of organic, cold-pressed, early-harvest olive oil (made with olives hand-picked on a remote Mediterranean mountaintop, of course), but chances are you won’t find it anywhere else in Dubai.

This spot is also famous for its irresistible cheese counter and range of organic superfoods. We dare you to try and walk away from its mouth-watering baked goods, and we certainly wouldn’t blame you for picking up an extra box of their delectable macarons for yourself, as well as for your friend’s baby shower.

It’s a shop with a conscience, too, with its “reuse rebate” policy: bring back your bags to re-use and you’ll get an instant discount – and have extra pennies to enjoy a gluten-free coffee from the in-house café.

If you’re not lucky enough to live in the vicinity of one of these stores, you’ll be happy to know a catering service is coming soon, and they already offer free home delivery.

French cheese and fresh pastries direct to our door? Don’t mind if we do.
