Marielle Cristina Mendoza interview

Nursery teacher at Blossom Children’s Nursery remembers school life

Where did you go to school?
I went to “Cervantes School” in Venezuela, my home country.
What was your favourite subject?
Art, because I love to draw and I remember myself taking story books and trying to draw the pictures on a piece of paper. Now, as a teacher, I like to encourage children to express themselves through Art.

Were you good or naughty?
Mostly good.

What’s the naughtiest thing you did?
I used to sit at the back of the class with two friends. While the teacher was explaining the subject we were just laughing and having “deep” conversations.
What is your happiest memory?
My happiest memory has to be receiving a medal at the end of every academic year. It is very gratifying to know that every effort has it rewards.
