John Lewis at Robinsons

John Lewis at Robinsons has swung open its doors

There have been whispers for more than a year that it was coming and now John Lewis home collections at Robinsons in Dubai Festival City Mall has finally opened for business.

To give you an idea of the scale of excitement this arrival heralds for thousands of expat families across the city – it’s probably akin to the reaction your seven-year-old had when you told them LEGOLAND Dubai was here. This iconic brand has been the school uniform/kitchen appliance/underwear/bedding/pretty much anything else staple of the UK high street for more than 150 years and has long been the one store British expats here missed the most. Well, not anymore.

We are delighted to report the prices are comparable to the UK original and the range is well-selected and endlessly useful. The staff have clearly been hand-picked to be able to deliver the personal style of customer service this store is synonymous with and, of course, the quality of products is spot-on.

Currently occupying one level of Singaporean department store import Robinsons, Dubai’s John Lewis boasts gorgeous displays of on-trend homeware (check out the cushions!), contemporary artwork, luxurious linen and a dreamy children’s furniture section bound to tempt some serious home makeovers across the city. There’s even a handy in-store fresh flower shop and a mini Wild & The Moon café should you need to re-fuel. Life in Dubai is officially complete! See you there.
Open Sun-Wed 10am-10pm, Thu-Sat 10am-midnight. Level 2, Robinsons, Dubai Festival
