Things to do in Dubai in October for kids

Take a break (pictured above)
Pack up your troubles and escape on a culinary journey to the Lapita Polynesian Triangle and beyond. Featuring a scrumptious international buffet with decadent speciality dishes from the South Pacific, you and your dearest are in for a real treat. Make it a family day out as you enjoy an after-brunch swim at the Polynesian paradise where you can catch up on some R&R as the kids splash around or enjoy the kids’ club. Because the Friday fiesta package comes with a full-day pool and kids’ club access. Nice one!

Stars in their eyes

Hayley’s Comet is hosting a masterclass that will teach all the DOs and DON’Ts for auditions, essential for all kids and teens who want to perform on stage and screen. The one-off workshop will work on scenes, monologues, and teach a popular musical theatre routine. What’s more, participants can bring a song to sing as part of a “fake” audition and everyone will be given feedback as if they were in front of a real panel. With lots of fun along the way, this is a great day for your superstar in the making.
Dhs 250, Oct. 7th, 1pm-4pm (04 447 0773).

Tint tots will love building their very own carnival with the brightly coloured LEGO DUPLO sets, perfect for little fingers. Designed especially for kids up to two years, the bricks are double the size of classic LEGO bricks, enabling toddlers to get creative.
