Dish of the Month: Demoiselle by Galvin

We check out the new kids’ offerings from the Galvin brothers

There’s nothing to say that fine food and eating out with your kids can’t go hand-in-hand; you just need to find the right place. Demoiselle by Galvin could be just that.

Coming from not one, but two Michelin-starred chefs – in the form of brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin – Demoiselle by Galvin, located at City Walk, is so proud of its family-friendly ideals that it has launched a brand-new kids’ menu.

At the core of Demoiselle lies the family bond of the brothers, and the team wants the eatery to be “a place for everyone”, providing good food and quality family time.

Here at Time Out Dubai we were delighted by the adult menu, which boasts a blend of “French cuisine and English charm”, and so were thrilled to see this addition for kids.

And what’s even better about this kids’ menu? Well you’ll get a main and dessert for Dhs46. And when those dishes are coming from Michelin-starred minds, we think that’s a pretty good deal.

Mains include home-made fish fingers with chips and veg (pictured), pasta with tomato sauce, flatbreads or slow-cooked lamb, catering for a whole range of tastes.

“We strive to use only the freshest ingredients in all our dishes. And when it comes to children, there is definitely no compromise in quality,” executive chef Luigi Vespero tells Time Out Dubai Kids.

“We’re pleased to have a lovely selection of meals for the little ones, which are sure satisfy their tiny taste buds.”
