UAE’s first family-friendly party coming to Dubai

Families can rave together at Party Monsters at The Backyard on November 11

The UAE’s first “family rave” is set to arrive in Dubai in November, and it’s promising to be a huge season of events that will keep coming back every month.

Party Monsters is set to launch in Dubai on Saturday November 11, taking place at The Backyard at the Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay, home of the OYE! Night. Due to take place on the second Saturday every month from November until April 2018, Paty Monsters is an afternoon festival blending together great music and a range of activities the whole family can enjoy.

There will be great music, arts and crafts, classic arcade games, a magician, face painting, balloon animals plus baby changing stations. There will also be a soft play area for kids, with ball pool tent and even, brilliantly, a “baby sensory dance floor” with bubble machines and more.

On top of all the attractions going on across the event, there’s also an optional fancy dress theme, giving kids a chance to dress up as their favourite jungle characters and animals.

Head along from noon until 5pm and get funky to a range of local and international DJs playing a mix of club classics and garage, house and drum and bass. There’s also a licensed bar for adults, plus a range of specially-designed food and beverage options to cater for the little ones. Tickets are priced at Dhs70 for adults, Dhs35 for kids and little ones under two years old get in for free. Entry fee includes access plus a party bag with glow sticks, earplugs and some discount vouchers for various family attractions around the city.
