More Café review

A new venue living up to the original favourite

We are big fans of More Café and the latest opening of the UAE favourite in Al Murooj does not disappoint. The café itself is sprawling and airy, and the backyard has plenty of room to accommodate the scampering of excitable children.

A wooden play tower with a slide keeps the kids entertained while the adults peruse the impressive menu, and the fenced-off areas, mean there’s no chance of escape for the little explorers.

The atmophere is relaxed and there are no raised eyebrows as children give their legs (and their lungs) a good exercise.

The menu is as varied and extensive as we’ve come to expect from More, with dishes spanning from the Far East to the Med, with a chicken pie thrown in for good measure.

We particulartly like the Thai fishcakes, which are served on a bed of sliced cucumber with a sweet dipping sauce. The Thai red curry is also delicious and arrives packed full of veggies in a fragrant sauce.

Portion sizes are substantial, and the menu also consists of pastas, sandwiches and burgers, as well as an extensive range of crumbles, cakes, ice creams and milkshakes, if their behaviour (or yours) is deemed dessert-worthy.

The bottom line
Kids are most definitely welcome here.
