If you’re hitting the shops with the kids to take advantage of the sales during the Dubai Shopping Festival, and in particular, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, there’s something else going on that you might want to stop off for.

Stick Man is coming to Dubai from London’s West End, with performances at Madinat Theatre from Wednesday January 17 to Saturday 20. If you’re unfamiliar with the show, it involves actors and sticks with eyes…

Stick Man has quite the adventure in this show and it’s just as entertaining for adults as it is for kids.

The loveable stick gets accosted by dogs that wants to play fetch with him as well as a swan that sees him as the ample ingredient to build its nest. On his journey back to his family tree, having miss weighed up the consequences of a leisurely morning jog, he also ends up on fire!

Catch the misadventures of Stick Man in this heart-warming (and hilarious) piece of theatre, based on the book of the same name by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. This show is packed full of puppetry, songs, live music, funky moves and so much more.

So put the shopping bags down for a while to experience a totally different kind of Dubai Shopping Festival 2018 event, and book your tickets now. And if you’re still unsure what Stick Man is all about, check out the clip below.
From Dhs155 per ticket. School and group bookings available on request. Jan 17-20. Madinat Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim,
