Head to Rixos Premium Dubai to try not one, but two new family-friendly haunts

What kid doesn’t love pizza and burgers? And these aren’t just any old versions. Rixos Premium Dubai in JBR is now home to two new eateries that are a step above your average fast food.

Black Tap and Luigia both recently opened in the swanky JBR hotel, and the good news is, they’re both very family-friendly.

It’s a second Dubai outlet for New York burger joint Black Tap, following the resounding success of the first at Jumeirah Al Naseem. Serving up a whole host of classic burgers and those massive, gravity-defying freakshakes, there’s a special menu reserved for the little ones, too, including the All-American Cheeseburger (pictured), which is one of the bestsellers, with a juicy beef patty nestled into a soft bun and smothered with cheese (Dhs75).

Meanwhile, next door, Luigia also offers up both an adults’ and kids’ menu.

Boasting “authentic Italian home cooking”, the opening of Luigia in the city brings the chain’s global total to five – with restaurants across Switzerland. Founded by Luigi Guarnaccia and Enrico Coppola, there’s a lengthy menu with pizzas all cooked in the wood-fired oven. Dishes include classic pizzas, calzones, pastas (Bolognaise, meatballs, pesto et el), salads and a range of traditional, yummy desserts. The “bamibini” menu boasts junior portions of pizza and pasta, coming in at under Dhs50.

Luigia prides itself on serving “The Best of Italy”, sourcing only the “freshest and best quality ingredients”.

With the beach just a stone’s throw away, what more do you need?
