Dubai Opera deal for kids and parents

Discounted tickets on offer to watch Aida

Dubai Opera shows can be educational for kids, teaching them about the arts, drama, life skills and more.

On Tuesday February 13, students will get discounted tickets priced at Dhs35 to see the cast and orchestra rehearsal of Aida. Kids who had been booked in by their schools or are accompanied by their parents will get the discount upon presenting a valid identification card.

While the performance will be an abridged version of the full show, it’s a prime opportunity to experience the opera with a very special price on tickets.

“We’re offering specially priced access to some of the most talented performers and musicians in the world in hopes that we we’ll be the conduit to inspire the next generation of world-class talent,” said Jasper Hope, chief executive of Dubai Opera.

A tale of love and loyalty, Aida follows the struggle and heartache between a Nubian princess and the Egyptian warrior Radamès.

The show is coming to Dubai Opera with full performances on Wednesday February 14 to Saturday 17 and will be staged in Italian with English surtitles.

Pre-booking is recommended for all student tickets. For all teachers booking ten or more students, their ticket is complimentary.

We hope this inspires musicians, performers and theatre teams of the future!

Dubai Opera's stage hosts musical theatre, fashion shows, jazz, comedy, family shows and a full range of live entertainment.
