The Buggy Run returns to Dubai

Family-friendly event includes runs for beginners and seasoned runners

The Buggy Run returns to Dubai

What do new mums and mum runners do in February? Attend The Buggy Run 2018!

Popular among parents, the fitness event is due to take place on Saturday February 24 at Dubai Motor City’s Dubai Autodrome.

The family-friendly event includes an untimed 2.5km and 5km run with buggies for everyone, from beginners right through to seasoned runners.

You can run, walk or skip the distances solo, as a team, or even as a relay, and older children are welcome to bring bikes or scooters if they prefer.

In preparation of this year’s sports-filled family event, buggy running classes are being hosted by the Run’s official fitness partner Urban Energy Fitness.

As part of The Buggy Run registration, you get three free buggy running classes, held at Dubai Marina every Tuesday at 9am.

There are also buggy-free classes held every Friday at 7am in Umm Suqeim Park for anyone who wants to train without a pushchair and improve their stamina.

“We’re delighted to have our fitness partner, Urban Energy, back on board to offer free training sessions for registrants,” says co-founder Nicola Holmes. “We can guarantee a fun morning for all the family with lots of entertainment and prizes to be won.”

All those who register will receive a race pack full of goodies on the day.
