See-saw installation and new extension launch at The Dubai Mall

New experiences set to captivate mall-goers of all ages

See-saw installation and new extension launch at The Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall has been witnessing tons of launches recently, and the latest ones are bound to make mums and kids very happy.

A new interactive installation featuring see-saws is now on display at the mall. The sensory experience Wave-Field comprises 16 illuminated musical see-saws.

When activated by momentum, the art installation – located in the Waterfront Promenade – turns into a playground with the see-saws emitting lights and sounds.

The travelling exhibit by Canadian-based Lateral Office and CS Design marks their debut in the UAE, and is open for both kids and adults to experience at no cost.

In other Dubai Mall news, the much-awaited Fashion Avenue extension is also now open.

It’s home to more than 150 luxury brands including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Rolex and Cartier, among many others, and the new space houses some retailers’ Middle East debut.

There will also be plenty of dining outlets and culinary experiences to choose from, with some already operating, including L’eto and Starbucks.

Adding to the exclusivity of the new area, art pieces from around the world have been placed around the Fashion Avenue extension.

There are plenty of lounge areas for shopping breaks, and the skylight roof lets the beautiful natural light in for a sunny indoor experience.

We’re going to see plenty of Dubai Mall hashtags in the coming months, and we’re not complaining.
