Spring break is coming up and you have plenty of camps for the kids to learn while having fun. Here are our top picks:

British Orchard

This Dubai nursery is ensuring kids fall in love with nature at this exciting spring camp. Youngsters aged one to five will be taught the basics of gardening while learning to nurture plant life and understand its importance in sustaining the ecosystem. They will also be treated to nature walks, closely observing the lifecycles of plants and understanding the relationship that insects have with plants. Indoors, they’ll be learning how to make the green connection with popular story books.

This spring camp is all about creativity. Throughout the camp, little artists are given the opportunity to choose their own projects from a variety of mediums, which encourages a love of learning, independence, creativity and artistic flow. Kids aged four to 12 will explore various techniques and learn to create different textures, giving depth to their painting.

Mattel Play! Town
This spring camp brings together the best of fun and imagination with a programme full of amazing games and surprises. Created for kids aged five to ten, the five-day camp is full of amazing games and themed activities including characters games, live shows, puppet shows and themed crafts. The tasty part? It includes breakfast, a lunch buffet and snacks.

The kids’ museum is holding two camps to fit kids aged five to nine. The Makers’ Camp will teach kids how to use real tools to turn everyday materials into extraordinary projects, while The Innovators’ Camp will make them use their hands to learn more about the basics of computational thinking, coding and simple circuits – without screens!

At this camp, kids aged four to 12 old can mingle and make new friends while enjoying a 1.3km white sandy beach, waterslides and a lazy river. Emirates Palace has partnered with Haddins Fitness, an Abu Dhabi family gym, for a blend of exhilarating activities, in addition to wakeboarding, cooking classes, kite-making, different sporting events and even Zumba.

Hiltonia Beach Club

Open to kids aged four to 12, this camp covers it all, from fun activities including sports and fitness games to little chefs’ cooking classes, arts and crafts sessions, face-painting and watersports. There will be team-building and creative learning events where kids can paint and swim, and a field trip in store for them too. Snacks, lunch and drinks will be provided for all participating children.

The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort

Running at the hotel’s purpose-built play centre, The Sandcastle Club, this spring camp will feature a packed itinerary of enriching activities. Youngsters aged four to 12 will be enjoying age-appropriate activities separately, which will include team-building games, arts and crafts sessions, and swimming lessons. A healthy, delicious lunch will be provided each day, in addition to fruit and other snacks. Every child will receive a gift pack containing a baseball cap, shirt and sling-style bag.
