Free weekend market showcases organic food and products

The Yard has quickly turned into Dubai’s new favourite laid-back destination and its latest launch is perfect for families looking for healthier alternatives.

Throughout April, The Yard’s outdoor market will bring health workshops and fresh organic food to weekenders.

At the al fresco market experience, you’ll get to explore market stalls from some of the city's most talented artisans and home-grown businesses.

It’s an opportunity to shop for arts and crafts, organic beauty products, jewellery, and homeware.

In addition, you can shop for the week’s supply of organic groceries and produce, including fresh fruits and veggies, eggs, honey, dates, superfoods, gluten-free items, and much more.

Kids will enjoy a host of fun, interactive activities such as creating their own healthy snacks from scratch.

The weekend market aims to bring the community together to support local farmers, small businesses and talented artisans.

The Yard is a new destination in the rapidly developing Al Khawaneej area, and comprises a rustic courtyard, an organic farmer’s market, a bakery and dining spaces.

It also features a unique mix of shops, a lake with two bridges spanning it, shaded walking trails and expansive landscaped picnic areas.

There’s also a “Promise Bridge”, to lock padlocks on, while stepping stones lead visitors from the main courtyard to the lake and picnic areas.

The Yard also features plenty of parking, drop-off points and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
