Black summer menu arrives

SALT’s new black-everything summer menu redefines funky eats

Food

Now, you’ll want to #findsalt and try the popular beachfront burger chain’s entire new Black Summer menu.

Salt was first in line on board the dark food trend two years ago with the launch of its Black Burger.

Long gone are the days of cute, basic buns and we have a feeling the “cool” kids will just love this one.

Available at all SALT outlets until the start of Ramadan, the Black Summer menu will satisfy hungry bellies, and keep everyone feeling refreshed with some fun beverages, too.

Start off with succulent crispy chicken fillet and wagyu beef sliders, served in a black bun (Dhs32), while even SALT’s thick-cut fries are topped with black salt and vinegar sauce for a tangy twist (Dhs27). Then, wash it all down with SALT’s summer champion, the Black Lemonade (Dhs27).

Made from freshly squeezed lemon, green apples, ginger and activated charcoal, which is all the rage right now.
Then, satisfy your sweet cravings and cool down with the Oreo Oreo, an Oreo ice cream coffee milkshake with Oreo biscuits, while the kids tuck into Oreo ice cream sandwiches (Dhs30). How many times did we say Oreo? The kids will also enjoy the creamy flavour of the Black Softie, a vanilla soft-serve swirl mixed with Oreo cookies, ‘and topped with even more mini Oreos (Dhs29).

And if you just can’t choose, SALT’s “All the Way” offer is Dhs75 for three items from the Black Summer Menu, so no need to worry about having to make a decision.

Get yourself down to the burger van pronto and enjoy.
Open daily 11am-2am. Kite Beach, Umm Suqeim. Other location: La Mer, Jumeirah 1, www.find-salt.com.
