British Orchard Nursery to hold summer camp

Kids will learn about nature and outer space through different tools

The summer break is around the corner and kids and parents alike are excited to see what the holidays will have to offer.

British Orchard Nursery’s ten-week summer camp is a full-on exploration journey for kids with the early learning experts’ very own Mr Pips.

“The Adventures of Mr Pips” summer camp will give kids the chance to accompany the character, unleashing unique concepts about land, water, air and outer space through interesting experiential activities, books and illustrations.

The tiny tots will spend the first couple of weeks learning all about under-the-sea in a fun, creative way, while getting close to marine mammals.

The second half of the fun-filled summer camp will focus on outer space and astronaut-related themes and activities, sending kids on a quest with comets, planets, stars and more.

The nursery will also conduct one science experiment per week related to each of the concepts, so kids can interact with the world around them, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Additionally, as a CSR initiative, all British Orchard branches in the UAE will use recycled materials to transform the nurseries into different areas under the theme.

“The idea is to basically focus on the seven areas of learning including communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design,” says Vandana Gandhi, Founder and CEO, British Orchard Nursery.

The camp is open to kids aged one to five and kids below one if they’re enrolled in British Orchard, or registered to start in September 2018.
