There’s a new experience in the UAE taking place at Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah for kids aged eight to 13.

The hotel has launched “Little Hotelier”, a hands-on journey for kids to live out their potential career aspirations first hand at a five-star property.

From Friday June 1, parents can book an exceptional package where kids will work for half a day, taking part in different roles.

Little hoteliers will do everything, from taking on the concierge desk and cooking as sous chefs, to manning the front office and planning with the engineers.

“We invite children to explore the rewarding world of hospitality and work together as a team with a practical learning experience,” says Alan Stocker, Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah general manager.

Each student will receive a personalised uniform together with a name tag. The programme starts out with an orientation session before the work shift begins.

Students also get breaks for lunch in the canteen alongside Waldorf Astoria’s team, and receive awards to commemorate their time at the hotel after being interviewed in the end.

“We’re thrilled to initiate creative and unique projects such as Little Hotelier where kids can learn in a real-life environment and take part in a truly out-of-the-box experience,” says Sayad Ibrahimli, director of marketing and public relations at Waldorf Ras al Khaimah.

Getting an opportunity to work alongside senior team members of the Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah, each budding hotelier is promised a memorable educational adventure.
