Love a burger? How about an ice cream sundae? Good news, there’s a brand-new eatery at Fairmont The Palm and it’s serving up all your faves.
Blowfish is billed as “an all-day casual-style American dining destination that will challenge the likes of many take away spots”.
Dishes on the new menu include burgers, loaded hot dogs, chilli cheese fries, thick milkshakes, soft-serve sundaes, nostalgic soda ice cream floats and the Blowfish Monster Sundae. Sounds ideal for summer.
There’s even a special ice cream bar to grab a cold treat on your way to the beach.
There’s a tropical theme, with palm trees, bright colours, swings and comfy cushions for a relaxed lunch or dinner.
“Blowfish is an exciting new concept for us, it provides a fantastic offering for our in-house guests and visitors to the palm, for a casual and fun bite to eat during the day and early evening,” said food and beverage director, Alain Gobeil.
“The menu provides a different experience, one that complements the latest trend in dining experiences, affordable, sharable and ‘insta-worthy’ food. I’m pleased to be expanding our culinary offerings further and adding to the range of cuisines available.”
There are also multiple TV screens for all the latest sports.
It’s the second restaurant to open at the hotel recently, as Bā opened up last month.
Bā boasts “a delicious array of modern Asian cuisine”. Think sushi, noodles, sharing plates and more. There’s a casual lounge and bar-style seating, plus happy hours and ladies’ nights are promised to be coming soon.
Last year funky Indian restaurant Little Miss India opened at Fairmont The Palm. The restaurant boasts colourful interiors and a sweeping outdoor terrace.
The restaurants join Flow Kitchen, Frevo and Seagrill Bistro – which has also been revamped – at the hotel, making it a fast-growing hotspot for dining options.
Open daily noon-9pm. Fairmont The Palm, Palm Jumeirah (04 457 3457).
