New service from Pottery Barn

Parents can share gift registry for newborns with loved ones

New service from Pottery Barn

Baby is almost here and everyone wants to know what to get them. Preparing a gift registry can be overwhelming and there’s a new service in town that can help make it a bit easier for expectant parents.

Pottery Barn Kids stocks plenty of kids’ furniture which, if you’re expecting, you may have been eyeing for a while. The launch of its baby registry services across Dubai and Abu Dhabi will let you tell friends and family what is it exactly that you’ve been wanting for your newborn: totally takes the hassle out of mind-reading and awkward gifting moments (er, thanks aunt Debbie)...

The service guides expectant parents through the process of sharing an inclusive list of essentials they would prefer as welcome gifts for their bundle of joy. They can select gifts from an eclectic collection of child-friendly furniture including baby cribs and mattresses, in addition to a range of organic items including plush toys, nursing pillows, cuddly bath wraps, crib mobiles, diaper bags and more.

Now on to the fun part, parents can also make their baby registry extra special with a bit of customisation, personalising the gifts with the infant’s name emblazoned on them. The team at Pottery Barn Kids will also decorate the gifts for free and can visit their home by appointment to help them decide what would go best with their interiors. Services range from designing a nursery from scratch to figuring out what would be best for the baby. A gentle push rocker here and a giraffe-shaped wicker basket there, and voilà, it’s a dream baby room with precious touches by everyone.
