New kids’ attraction opens in Dubai

Emaar launches ‘Dig It’ at The Springs Souk to promote teamwork among kids

Activities

Just in case you were wondering how the kids will start off their summer holidays, there’s a new kids’ attraction for three- to ten-year-olds in town they’ll be sure to enjoy.

An incredible play environment based around a real building site, Dig It is an indoor edutainment space located in the newly-opened The Springs Souk.

Launched by Emaar Entertainment, the attraction enables kids to learn how to work together as they dig, move, build and create using various means that stimulate their imagination for a more active, enriching play experience.

Kiddies can look forward to educational and interactive activities such as climbing aboard a real-life digger, operating remote-controlled cars, driving lessons and workshops as well as sand play at this new learning experience.

In addition to the creative play space, there are food and beverage options on site at the Dig It Café for them to enjoy too.

To play, there are different categories of tickets on offer including Drop & Play, where parents can drop their kids for 1.5 to two hours with trained staff, starting from Dhs100.

Kids can also sign up for The Diggers Club Loyalty Programme where, for every four visits, they get one free.

The miniature kids’ building site also hosts birthday parties priced at just Dhs145 per child. The two-hour birthday bonanza includes 90 minutes of play with a qualified host, with the remaining 30 minutes for food and cake in the party room.
From Dhs100. Open daily 10am-10pm. Level two, The Springs Souk, Off Al Asayel Street, The Springs, Emirates Living, www.digitdubai.com.
