The Killers live on!

As they prepare for Abu Dhabi gig The Killers' Brandon Flowers denies he's going solo

As we count down the days to their Emirates Palace gig on Tuesday night, word has reached Time Out towers that The Killers' capital show could be one of their last.

According to reports on various websites, the singer was looking into releasing his own material away from the band.

But fear not, fans - it's all rubbish, according to front man Brandon Flowers - well, his management at least.

"Brandon [Flowers] is not leaving The Killers to 'go solo'," an announcement from Island Records read. "The band are on tour in South Africa at the moment, still busy promoting their third album 'Day & Age', and will be touring into spring 2010."

Phew, that's a relief. If you haven't got your tickets for Tuesday's gig yet, don't worry, we've got a few left. Grab them here.
