Hard Rock Café to open at Festival City after Ramadan

The legendary venue will have a large indoor stage and capacity for 300 people

Popular restaurant Hard Rock Café is to open in Dubai Festival City as soon as possible after Ramadan, owners Al Futtaim Group Real Estate state. It will cover 26,000 square foot and become the largest Hard Rock Café outside of North America, featuring the largest Hard Rock Shop in the world touting rock memorabilia. It will have a large music stage and capacity for 300 people. Hard Rock Café will also build the tallest ornamental guitar in the world at 118 feet, which will be positioned near the Festival City boulevard.

The previous Hard Rock Café Dubai closed in March 2009, after the hotel it was attached to was bulldozed. More than 10,000 fans joined a Facebook site shortly afterwards to try and save it.
