Al Ain Air show opening postponed

Adverse weather conditions mean the opening of the popular aerobatic show will take place tomorrow

Safety concerns for pilots and spectators mean that the Al Ain Air Show opening ceremony has been postponed until Thursday, February 3rd.

Adverse weather conditions across the  UAE led the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and the UAE armed forces to agree to the postponement.

The show, which was due to begin at 12.00 today features dramatic flying from the world's best stunt pilots and aviators from across the world. However dangerous winds and cloudy skies could cause problems in the sky and on the ground.

But with the weather expected to improve over the coming days, the show will go ahead as planned between Thursday 3rd and Saturday 5th February (12.00-18.00).
