Swedish legends Roxette to play in Dubai

Duo to play in UAE for the first time as part of worldwide tour

Take a Joyride with legendary rockers Roxette at the Dubai World Trade Centre next month.

The Swedish duo will stop off in the UAE for the first time as part of the worldwide tour.

They will perform smash hits such as It Must Have Been Love, Listen To Your Heart and Joyride at the venue in Sheikh Rashid Hall on May 20. Doors open at 7pm for the event, which takes place from 9pm to 11pm.

It will start with a performance from Palladium Electric Band, who will warm up the audience. A Djs’ battle of ‘80s hits will conclude the evening.

Roxette, comprising blonde singer Marie Fredriksson and songwriter Per Gessle, have sold 60 million records worldwide. Their newest album, The Charm School, was released in February.

Tickets cost Dhs550 for platinum seating, Dhs450 for VIP standing and Dhs300 for grand standing.
