The London College of Fashion is holding its third installment of its short courses.
They take place at the Pullman Dubai Mall of the Emirates Hotel from May 13 to 27, when a team of UK tutors will teach the 12 courses.
Among them is designer Richard Sorger, whose collection is carried in Harvey Nichols, Toby Meadows, international bestselling author of ‘How to Set Up and Run a Fashion Label’, and renowned fashion journalist Paul Tierney.
Linda Roberts, senior business manager at London College of Fashion, said: “We’ve had an overwhelming level of interest for our Dubai short courses since our pilot programme in May last year.
“It is encouraging to see such a keen interest in fashion in the Middle East.”
Courses included: The Essentials of the Fashion Industry (two days), Principles of Fashion Styling (four days), Fashion Media Workshop (three days), Online Fashion Marketing and Social Media (one day), Retail Branding, Promotions and Visual Merchandising (three days), Fashion Marketing and Branding (three days), Luxury Brand Management and Product Design (five days), Fashion Design (four days), Starting Your Own Fashion Label (four days), Managing Your Own Shoes or Accessories Business (four days), Fashion Buying and Merchandising 1 (three days) and Fashion Buying and Merchandising 2 (three days).
