Adam Levine and Co impress at World Trade Centre gig

Maroon 5 promised their best-ever gig before taking to the stage at the World Trade Centre Arena last night – and fans agreed they delivered on their vow.

The California pop-rockers looked every bit the live band as frontman Adam Levine owned the stage with a lively set that included classic and new material.

Levine mixed some Michael Jackson and Tina Turner into the band’s hits before performing a cover of Al Green’s Let Stay Together.

Soulful classic She Will Be Loved had every fan singing along while This Love had the whole arena moving.

The band then played new tracks, demanding that the crowd sing along and wave their hands.

A long encore was brought to a thrilling climax with a performance of Makes Me Wonder that will live long in the memory of fans of Levine and Co.
