Boom Shak-A-Lak singer is latest reggae star to hit UAE

Apache Indian will perform live in Dubai.

The reggae legend will perform alongside H Dhami at Chi Garden in Oud Metha Road on May 6.

Apache announced himself to the reggae world with his 1993 smash hit Boom Shak-A-Lak, which reached number 5 in the UK charts.

He enjoyed more than a decade of success, recording seven UK top 40 hits and receiving four Brit Award nominations, a Mercury Music nomination, an Ivor Norvello Award and the International Dance Award in 1995.

Warming up the event will be DJ Shadow and DJ Blaze.
