Emirates airline has been forced to revise its flight schedule because of Iceland's volcanic ash cloud which threatens to cause chaos in the United Kingdom and Europe.
No other Gulf carrier has had to alter flight schedules due to the eruption of the Grimsvoetn volcano which is slowly covering the United Kingdom and European skies with ash.

Al Wasl Club Tuesday said they were waiting to hear from Atletico Madrid on their latest bid for Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan, the Golden Ball winner in the last Fifa World Cup.
A club statement said: "A new and improved bid has been submitted for Diego Forlan — the new offer of taking Forlan on a year-long loan starting next season will be the final attempt by Al Wasl.”

Regular early morning users of the Dubai Metro have urged the RTA to start the service earlier than the current time of 6am and increase the frequency during the first hour of the day.
Many commuters also wished there were more frequent feeder trips along the Metro stations on Shaikh Zayed Road, particularly near Al Quoz, at least during morning peak hours.

Beauty is no longer the monopoly of the affluent in Dubai, according to a cosmetics industry expert.
The expert also has claimed that the demand for natural-based cosmetics in the region has been on the rise since consumers have become more conscious of their health and of their need to look good.
