Go mental at Modhesh World: Okay, we admit we have a soft spot for Modhesh World, mostly because it’s big and air conditioned and the little monsters can run wild, thus burning up loads of energy. Of course, over the years it has expanded (and become more pricey), but this means there’s even more entertainment to enjoy. This year the themed zones are back, and include Modhesh Souq, arts and crafts, Lego, a book bazaar, an ice rink, a skate park, a funfair and numerous other games and rides. There are lots of inflatable bouncy things too – perfect for sorting out all the cabin-fever-induced silliness.
Dhs15 per person; free for children under three. Open Sat-Wed 10am-10pm; Thu 10am-midnight. Dubai Airport Expo, www.dubaievents.ae.
