Al Wasl coach Diego Maradona and his girlfriend Veronica Ojeda were discharged from hospital yesterday a day after their car crashed in Buenos Aires and the Dubai club have confirmed he will be travelling to the UAE towards the end of July.

The Argentina legend ploughed his SUV into a bus in El Trebol on the outskirts of Buenos Aires on Monday night, but his personal physician Alfredo Cahe said both Maradona and his girlfriend Veronica Ojeda, who was with him, did not suffer any serious injuries.
