Two women who have been on an 8,000km bicycle trip from the UK to India are about to start the final leg of their trek from Dubai.
Tilly Gifford, 27, and Luciee Ranjahan, 25, who both work on different farms in Scotland, began their adventure on March 21. They set off on their route as a way of raising awareness about the impact of climate change on farmers around the world.

Al Wasl team manager Humaid Yousuf has confirmed Argentine midfielder Mariano Donda, Diego Maradona’s fourth overseas addition, will be in the UAE within the week.
Speaking on the sidelines of the first official open training session on Saturday night, where more one hundred fans and swathes of media were camped out to catch a glimpse of the world-famous Argentine coach, Yousuf said: “I don’t think it will be long before Donda is here. He is on the way.”

Muslims residing on top of the 80th floor in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa must delay their evening Iftar meal during Ramadan by two to three minutes as they see the sunset later, according to the Dubai Islamic Affairs Department.
Those residents should also start their daily fasting two minutes earlier on the grounds dawn descends on them before those living on lower levels, the Department said in a Fatwa (edict) published by Emarat Alyoum daily.
