AC Milan v PSG in Dubai

Star-studded teams to bring Robinho, Pato and Ibrahimovic to city

World football’s most famous names will grace Dubai when AC Milan take on Paris Saint-Germain on January 4 at Al-Ahli FC’s Rashid Stadium.

Milan will feature sensational striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Brazilian superstars Robinho, Alexandre Pato and Thiago Silva, while PSG, owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, will include Javier Pastore, Jérémy Ménez and Mamadou Sakho in their line-up.

PSG are two-time Ligue 1 winners and have claimed the Coupe de France title an incredible eight times, while AC Milan, widely regarded as the most successful club in world football, not only have an outstanding Serie A record, but have also claimed the European Cup seven times in their illustrious history.

The Dubai Football Challenge will be the culmination of AC Milan’s annual Emirates-sponsored Winter Training Camp, which will see the 18-time Serie A Champions making the most of Dubai’s fantastic weather and training facilities.

It was in a similar fixture here in 2009 when David Beckham made his AC Milan debut against German side Hamburg. The England great has been linked with a move to PSG after leaving LA Galaxy earlier this year.

Kick-off is 7.30pm. Tickets for the match go on sale here on Thursday.
