5 things to do tomorrow

The Knowledge
Tuesday, August 7

Try Lush’s colour wheel: The bath and body store has launched a ‘colour wheel’ colour-therapy concept. Pick out the colours that you’re most drawn to in order to find out more about your mood.
Ongoing. Various locations including The Dubai Mall (04 435 6114).

Enjoy discounts at Nasimi Beach Boutique: Nasimi Beach may be closed, but its boutique is open, offering 25 percent off selected clothing and accessories.
Open daily 10am-midnight. Atlantis The Palm, Palm Jumeirah (04 426 0000).

Go for Olympic gold at Rivington Grill: Head to Rivington to enjoy dishes from the new ‘Classics’ menu. If Great Britain wins a gold medal during the evening, diners get a free drink.
Dhs200 (three courses). Daily 7.30pm-11pm. Souk Al Bahar, Downtown Dubai (04 423 0903), Madinat Jumeirah (04 366 6464).

Check out a huge suhoor: Fun for all the family at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Dhs135. Daily 8pm-3am. Until August 19. Sheikh Zayed Road (04 306 4000).

Go ice skating at Arabian Centre: Take to the ice at Arabian Centre’s ‘iceless’ rink: it features synthetic ice that is apparently 10 percent less slippery than real ice, so is perfect for beginners. It’s also not as cold as the real thing (perfect if you’re likely to spend a lot of time sitting on it). Dhs25 per person per hour, including skate hire.
Open daily 10am-1am throughout Ramadan. Arabian Center, Mirdif, www.arabiancenter.ae (04 284 5555).
