Pioneering British grime artist Wiley is set to storm Dubai next month: we’ve heard on the grapevine that he’ll be a last-minute addition to dXb Music Festival’s line-up. This would put him on the same stage as Dutch DJ star Afrobeat, US hip-hop quartet Far East Movement and DJ star Kaskade at the event in Festival City on Friday October 5. Wiley grew up in the suburbs of East London alongside fellow stars Dizzee Rascal and Tinchy Stryder, and is dubbed the ‘godfather’ of grime for his role in defining the British genre. He’s best known for tongue-in-cheek UK number two hit ‘Wearing My Rolex’.
