Two of the world’s biggest stars will go head-to-head with a double header of gigs in Dubai.
House guru David Guetta – the man behind more radio hits than we can count – will play in Dubai on May 3, a day before the much-hyped UAE debut of Justin Bieber at The Sevens Stadium.
The next three months look to be among the busiest for live music the UAE has ever seen, with a string of major gig announcements of late. In case you’ve lost count: we’ve got Noel Gallagher and Richard Ashcroft playing at Atlantis on Friday March 15, while Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will headline the du World Music Festival a week later at Abu Dhabi’s du Arena. And in recent weeks Guns N’ Roses (Thursday March 28), Sting (Thursday March 14) and Metallica (Friday April 19) have all confirmed gigs at the same venue.
Back in Dubai we’ve got ’80s Rewind with Rick Astley and more at Festival Park on Friday March 1, Bob Geldof at The Irish Village on Thursday March 14, Julio Iglesias at Dubai World Trade Centre on Thursday March 21, Bruno Mars at Dubai Media City on Friday April 12, and the first Sandance of the year confirmed for Friday May 10. Phew!
