Residents at The Lakes and in the surrounding Emirates Living communities are set to get a brand new hangout this October, with the opening of vibrant London eatery Reform Social & Grill, the outlets first foray in the UAE market.

Just a few years old, the London venue is inspired by the fabled gentleman’s the Reform Club in London, where Philleas Fogg began his journey in Jules Verne’s book Around the World In 80 Days.

Located at The Lakes Club, Reform Dubai will dominate a fully refurbished 15,000 sqft indoor and outdoor space, and serve traditional British food and drink to customers from 7am to midnight, seven days a week. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available, with menus featuring classic dishes such as home-cured salmon, fresh asparagus with white stilton, fish and chips, char-grilled steak and veal chops, chocolate and orange pot and rhubarb and custard tart. Dishes are set to be priced from a reasonable Dhs45 for starters and Dhs80 for main courses, with daily specials, and rumours of opening offers in the first few weeks.

The venue will also house a bar, where punters can sip classic and contemporary mixed drinks, as well as a wide range of other much-loved British beverages.

As the weather cools down, the terrace and pub garden area (with playground) will offer more space for families and groups to unwind, and the in-house tuck shop will also be worth checking out.
