Craig Charles Dubai gig cancelled

Friday’s set for Sunny Vibe Up called off because of the weather

BBC Radio 6 DJ Craig Charles’ scheduled gig in Dubai has been cancelled due to predicted bad weather.

The Red Dwarf star was set to perform at Dusk Terrace, Radisson Blu Media City, on Friday November 22 as part of the Sunny Vibe Up pool party.

However a statement from promoters Deep Crates has confirmed the gig has been postponed until early 2014. Refunds are available to all ticket holders.

The statement read: ‘We regret to announce that due to the potential adverse weather forecast this coming weekend in the United Arab Emirates, the upcoming event on 22 November 2013 at Dusk Terrace, Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City featuring Craig Charles (BBC 6 Music) has been postponed until early 2014. A new rescheduled date will be announced very shortly.

‘All advanced purchase ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund, otherwise advanced purchase tickets will still be valid for the new date in early 2014. Please call Chris on +971 (0) 566920196 or email for more details.
