Dates change for Dubai Jazz Festival

Santana, Jamie Cullum and Colbie Caillat gigs moved a day forward

Knowledge story, The Knowledge

Organisers of the Dubai International Jazz Festival have announced that two of the event’s main gigs have changed date.

Santana will now performed on Thursday February 20, a day earlier than previously advertised, while Jamie Cullum and Colbie Caillat’s gig has also been moved forward a day to Wednesday February 19
A statement from promoters Chillout Productions said: ‘Because of the massive demand and feedback from fans of the annual music festival, Chillout Productions announced that the second weekend of Main Gigs have been moved one day earlier.’
Organisers confirmed that all E-tickets already purchased for the acts will remain valid.
Chillout CEO Anthony Younes said: ‘We took this initiative solely for music enthusiasts due to a conflicting scheduled event. We know that some won’t be happy with this decision, especially that we have been the first one to announce the dates of the festival, but we have to take action and respond to the request of thousands of Santana fans.’
More tickets are also now being released for the VIP terrace area for the Santana concert, which initially sold out in a matter of days.
