Knowledge story, The Knowledge

If you’ve had your fair share of dalliances with crash diets in an effort to shift the bulge but have never had much luck, now’s the time to get into juicing. UAE company Go Organic (www.goorganic.com) is delivering door-to-door boxes packed full of local organic produce to juice at home. Choose from all-green options as well as kids’ juicing packs. The company also offers nutritional advice and kitchen de-cluttering for those looking to make healthy lifestyle changes.

Meanwhile, a handful of wellness centres are expanding in the new year, including Illuminations Well-Being Centre (04 448 7043), which is opening a second venue in Jumeirah. Specialist Pastels Salon (04 388 3534) is opening an express blow-dry bar, featuring seven customised treatments for women on-the-go.

In other news, Dubai Herbal and Treatment Centre (04 448 1200) will be offering black mole check-ups from February, while ground-breaking skincare brand Optiphi, which contains ingredients that encourage cell rejuvenation, is now available in Dubai for the first time at Kalm Holistic Beauty (04 451 9988) on Palm Jumeirah. The anti-ageing products are designed to target all seven signs of ageing. Until next week, namaste.
